We've had a
fantastic journey together since we first met on a SCUBA diving trip to Belize in 1992.
After Mary's retirement in 2000 and Bill's in 2004, we sailed our Valiant 50, "Raptor Dance" out the Golden Gate and turned left, just 4 days after Bill's retirement.
We cruised Mexico for a season and then up to British Columbia and Washington to cruise for a year. Then we sailed back to Mexico and cruised another 5+ years on the Pacific Coast of Mexico from the Sea of Cortes down to Zihuatanejo before returning back to San Francisco bay in late 2010. In total in just under 7 years, we logged over 25,000 miles.
Once home, we started traveling on land and cruise ships, primarily on Celebrity and Oceania. We were off traveling up to 7 months out of the year and pretty much went everywhere we wanted to go.
Now we're enjoying being home with only an occasional trip. You can see some of our curated photos on Flickr at https://www.flickr.com/photos/mack-finkelstein/
Also, if you want to explore a blast from the past and don't mind broken links and low resolution photos from back when we got our first digital camera in 1999 and videos (it was in the pre-Smartphone days!), you can access our old, legacy website from before 2009 at this link. Be advised, it's not SSL protected! http://pre-2009.williamfinkelstein.com
